DOUBLE, DOUBLE HERE COMES TROUBLE…!

Comedic Banter and Thrilling Prose Enchant Audiences

Entertainment is the name of the game. Information delivered in an entertaining fashion gets absorbed in a most magical way. Authors, Dorothy Morrison and M. R. Sellars, both practicing Witches, have seized on that fact, taking their humorous brand of verbal sorcery to the road in order to entertain people at bookstores and festivals nationwide. Drawing on personal experiences they wittily impart information on everything from modern day paganism, magick, and witchcraft to dealing with kooks in everyday life. The no-nonsense, comical manner in which they deliver their seminars have led the pair to be compared to a 21st century incarnation of Burns & Allen.

 During mid to late  2008 tour schedule will take them once again from the Midwest on through the Upper Northeast on a 15-day/9-stop tour through 7 states—Indiana, Tennessee, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Maine, New York, and Virginia. Actual dates and locations provided on page 2 - 3 of this release.

 Both Morrison and Sellars have toured portions of New England in the past and are looking forward to returning.

Dorothy Morrison is a Wiccan High-Priestess of the Georgian tradition and author of numerous best selling books on paganism, ranging from Everyday Magic: Spells and Rituals for Modern Living to The Craft: A Witches Book of Shadows. Her down to earth style and no-nonsense explanations have earned her the moniker, “The Pagan Martha Stewart.”

 M. R. Sellars is a practicing Witch and Elder of the Grove of the Old Ways, as well as being a best selling novelist. His series, the Rowan Gant Investigations offers readers a dose of real-life pagan concepts woven within gut wrenching occult suspense-thrillers. His deadpan observations of the world around him have prompted Sellars to be called the “Dennis Miller of Paganism.”

 When asked to comment about this jaunt through New England, Sellars replied, “You’re kidding, right? I really have to travel with her again?” Morrison simply shook her head and mumbled something about him being destined to eat flies and say ribbit.\

This class begins with an examination of witchcraft before 1950 and some of the seminal events and influences that led to the codification of Wicca as a religion by Gerald Gardner. Jason will than go on to examine other less well known figures like A.O. Spare, Robert Cochrain, and Andrew Chumbley who represent a vision of the Craft that is significantly different from Wicca

 

The Path of Buddhist Tantra

 

Jason Miller, an initiate of several Tibetan Tantric lineages, will outline the journey of a Tantrika from base to path to fruit. There will be a special focus on magick and occult aspects of this path rarely talked about openly. The talk will be followed by a short puja aimed at blessing the participants and their loved ones.

 

 

Artificial Spirits

 

They have been variously called Servitors, Egregori, Artificial Elementals, Watchers, Bud-wills and Tuplas , but they all are terms for spirit-like entities that are generated by the will and power of magician. The history, theory, and creation of these artificial spirits will be explained in this class as well as the peculiar considerations that arise from their use. By the end of the class, everyone should be able to go out and create their own servitors.
